Dr Anna Petrig is Professor of International Law and Public Law at the University of Basel, Switzerland. Anna holds a PhD in the field of the Law of the Sea and Human Rights Law from the University of Basel and an LLM from Harvard Law School, where she studied as a Fulbright scholar.
Dr Makoto Seta is a Professor at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University. Specialising in international law, his research focuses on the law of the sea and sustainable ocean governance. He previously taught at Yokohama City University and holds a PhD in Law from Waseda.
Dr Youri van Logchem (LLB, LLM, PhD, FHEA) is a Full Professor of Law (with particular focus on Law of the Sea & International Environmental Law) at the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. He is also the Academic Director of the LLM in Law of the Sea at UiT.
Dr Md Abdullah Yousuf Al Harun is a Professor in the Environmental Science Discipline at Khulna University, Bangladesh. He holds a PhD in Ecology from Victoria University, Australia. His research focuses on climate change, nature-based solutions, water recycling, microplastics, plant ecology, and marine pollution.
Dr Abu Hena Muhammad Yousuf an Associate Professor in the Department of Oceanography under Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences at University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr Yousuf holds PhD at International Centre for Ocean Governance (ICOG) under School of Law at Western Sydney University, Australia.
Dr Mohammad Ershadul Karim is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya. His research focuses on the legal and regulatory implications of emerging technologies, particularly nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, cyber law, privacy and data protection, and environmental law.
Dr Nishara Mendis, Attorney-at-Law (Sri Lanka), is currently the Executive Director of the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKI), Colombo Sri Lanka. She has an LLM from Yale Law School, The United States, and a PhD from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
Dr Monjur Hasan is an Assistant Professor of Law at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He earned his PhD in International Law of the Sea from the Ocean University of China in 2019 and completed his postdoctoral research at Ankara University National Centre for the Sea and Maritime Law, Turkey.
Dr Naporn (Prompt) Popattanachai is Assistant Professor in Environmental and Marine Law at the School of Law, University of Galway. Dr Prompt holds a PhD from Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, UK, where his research focused on the protection of the marine environment.
Sk. Shafayat Hossain is the Business Editor at Banglanews24.com, where he writes and edits reports on business, banking, and the economy. He also serves as ICT & Training Secretary of the Economic Reporters’ Forum (ERF), working to strengthen professional development and innovation in economic journalism in Bangladesh.
Dr Md Mahedi Al Masud is currently affiliated with the Divisional Social Services Office, Khulna, under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Bangladesh. He has extensive experience in conducting nationally and internationally funded research projects and has published over 15 articles in reputable scientific journals.
