The Bangladesh Centre for Ocean Law and Policy (BCOLP) is pleased to announce the winners of the BCOLP Essay of the Year Prize (BEYP) 2025, selected from blog posts published on the BCOLP Blog during 2025.
The submissions were evaluated independently by three external judges from Australia, India, and Sri Lanka.

Congratulations to the winners for their contributions to discussions relating to ocean law, governance and related policy issues.
As part of the awards, the 1st prize carries a monetary award of AUD 100. The 2nd and 3rd prize winners receive a 100% scholarship and 75% scholarship respectively for the 2nd BCOLP Academy.
The 2nd BCOLP Academy will commence on 10 April 2026 and is still open for registration. More information about the Academy:
